University of Michigan Policy on Institutional Conflicts of Interest in Research
The university’s policy on Institutional Conflicts of Interest in Research addresses the identification, review, and management of potential financial conflicts of interest of the university (as an institution) as they relate to research activities. The policy establishes the Institutional Conflicts of Interest Committee (ICOI) which is appointed by the president and reviews potential conflicts under the Policy and makes recommendations to the president.
The policy and committee information can be viewed on the Institutional Conflict of Interest website.
