Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce the reappointment of UM-Dearborn Chancellor Dan Little, following a vote by the Board of Regents at today’s meeting.

Chancellor Little’s distinguished leadership of UM-Dearborn began in 2000. He has advanced the metropolitan vision for the campus and built strong partnerships in the regional community. Today, the campus is a more vibrant destination for students and community members. He has established new academic programs in health care fields, and grown UM-Dearborn enrollment to an all-time high.

Throughout his tenure, he has maintained a steadfast commitment to equity and inclusion, resulting in an increasingly diverse student body and a campus that is welcoming and supportive for students, faculty and staff.

I have had the pleasure of seeing his commitment and success first-hand during two visits to UM-Dearborn and meetings with members of the campus community. His reappointment is effective this July and runs through June 30, 2018.
