The University of Michigan launched a search for its next Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. A position description can be found here.
President Schlissel appointed a 14-member search advisory committee, chaired by Ravi Pendse, vice president for information technology; chief information officer; and professor of engineering practice in electrical engineering and computer science in the College of Engineering.
Committee members invited ideas, feedback and nominations for the search to the following email address: input-EVPCFOsearch@umich.edu. Mark Hall (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Heather Larabee (email@example.com) from the executive search firm Spelman Johnson were retained to help with the search.
For fullest consideration, applicant materials were encouraged to be submitted by March 29, 2021. Review of applications continued until the position is filled. Candidates provided a resume or curriculum vitae and a letter of application that addresses the candidate’s experience and qualifications relative to the responsibilities and requirements described. Candidate confidentiality was respected to the highest degree allowable under the laws of the State of Michigan.
